“Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program Starts Cooperation with Zhyttyelyub Charity Fund

The “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” program starts cooperation with Zhyttyelyub Charity Fund – a series of lectures for the elderly, which will help them navigate the legal field and know how to protect their rights.

Participants of the Program will, on their own initiative and on the organizational support of the Program, give lectures and, if necessary, provide targeted aid to the elderly people united by the Zhyttyelyub Charity Fund.

In particular, the first lecture will familiarize them with the system of free legal aid and describe how it could be used to protect their rights and freedoms. Later, a series of lectures will be devoted to the analysis of the rights and opportunities for their protection – in the area of ​​social and pension benefits, property relations, inheritance, enforcement of court decisions, etc.

“Tomorrow’s Lawyer” is a powerful network of lawyers uniting opinion leaders in the legal profession, who provide legal assistance in accordance with the highest ethical standards, act as agents of change in society and leaders in the professional community.

The Program was developed during 2016-2017 with the support of The Quality and Accessible Legal Aid Project with an expert contribution from the Canadian Bar Association. In 2018, the “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program is being implemented by the Ukrainian Bar Association and the Bar Association of Legal Aid Providers, with the support of the United States Embassy and The Quality and Accessible Legal Aid in Ukraine Project funded by the Government of Canada and implemented by the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE).
