ENROLL FOR THE THIRD COURSE OF THE “TOMORROW’S LAWYER” PROGRAM!

We are pleased to announce the start of the selection campaign within the third cycle of the “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program – a first all-Ukrainian professional development program for lawyers, aimed at improving the quality of legal assistance, ethical standards, supporting the implementation of reforms in the field of justice and the development of the legal community in Ukraine.

The “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” is a powerful network of lawyers, which brings together leaders of the legal profession, who provide legal assistance in accordance with the highest ethical standards, being agents of change in society and leaders in the professional community.

We are proud that nine graduates of the Program elected to the bodies of lawyer’s self-government, one graduate became a judge of the Supreme Court, one became a member of the Public Council of Integrity in the High Qualification Commission of Judges, and more than a dozen participate in competitions for the positions of judges.

The program consists of training modules aimed at practical training and improvement of skills required in everyday work of each lawyer. This is not the study of law and process. Instead, we train skills lacking at the Ukrainian law schools: how to communicate with clients, court, procedural opponents, the public and the media. We will answer the question of what it means for a lawyer to be a leader and how to protect yourself from professional burnout. We refute the usual statement that the client is the key enemy of the lawyer.

The target audience of the Program are successful lawyers from all over Ukraine who are active and effective in public activities, have their own vision and ideas on reforms in the field of justice and are ready to work on improving the legal system of the country.

The selection of participants will be held by questionnaires and, if necessary, a personal interview. In order to become a member of the Program, you need to complete a questionnaire. Before filling in the questionnaire, we suggest you to read the List of Questions, the Program Description and Conditions of Participation, the Rules of Participation in the Program, and the Guidelines for filling in the questionnaires.

We accept applications until 24:00 on January 25, 2019. For those who are lucky enough to get to the third hundred, the training will begin in the spring of 2019 and will last for a year.
