Feedback On The Tomorrow’s Lawyer Program: A Year After

A participant of the second group of the “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program, advocate at  “Pakharenko & Partners” Anna Prokhorova, spoke about her experience in the “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program in a material for Yurydychna Gazeta (Legal Newspaper):

“At the end of October, a quarter of the so-called “golden” hundred of lawyers (in particular, the second group, to which the author of the article belonged) successfully completed the “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” training program – the first All-Ukrainian professional development  program for lawyers designed by Canadian colleagues and adapted by Ukrainian experts at the beginning of 2017. From among 700 candidates 111 lawyers were selected from different regions of Ukraine, who attended training courses in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv and Odessa within the framework of 4 modules within a year.

The traditional post-Soviet system of education, which we all came from, imposed training as a duty and inspired the fear of making mistakes or doing something different. The “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program has shown that learning can (and should!) be an interesting and continuous process in the lives of everyone who seeks to become the highest-level professional in a particular industry, as well as those who seek to be educated and a well developed personality.

Dear participants, the Tomorrow’s Lawyer Program will be happy to receive and share with the entire community of the Program your success stories and professional life events. Please email us at: info@tomorrowslawyer.org.

The “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program is an efficient network of lawyers, uniting leaders of the legal profession, who provide legal assistance in accordance with the highest ethical standards, are agents of change in society and leaders in the professional community.

The “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program was developed during 2016-2017 with the support of the project “Quality and Accessible Legal Aid in Ukraine” with an expert contribution from the Canadian Bar Association.
