Tomorrow’s Lawyers Conducted Trainings within the Free Legal Aid System

On May 17, the two-day cascading training sessions on developing skills of working with vulnerable groups of clients within the Free Legal Aid System began in the regions.

These sessions are conducted by lawyers who have passed courses for trainers in April this year. Preparation of trainers, as well as cascade trainings, take place with the support of the Quality and Affordable Legal Aid in Ukraine (QALA) Project and in partnership with the Legal Aid Coordination Center.

On May 17-18, the graduates of the Tomorrow’s Lawyer Program Natalia Radushinska and Yevhena Shara conducted a training in Zhytomyr, Khrystyna Kit – in the city of Lviv, and Lyudmila Hrytsenko and Tamara Bugaets in the city of Dnipro.

The training was attended by lawyers who provide pro bono services within the Free Legal Aid System, namely legal consulting and representation of clients’ interests in courts. Cascading training will also be held in Kharkiv, Vinnytsia and Lutsk.
