Tomorrow’s Lawyers Pro Bono for Healthcare Workers
In times of crisis, it is important to stay human and help those who need it.
The “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” community offers its support to overcome the crisis. Participants of the Program, on the initiative of Natalia Buhta, a lawyer, are launching a project and ready to provide free legal advise to healthcare workers of Ukraine who are involved in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic.
These are the lawyers who seek to provide legal assistance in accordance with the highest ethical standards, be effective leaders in their own professional community and in the implementation of social change, and take an active public position.
Healthcare workers who are today in the forefront of the fight against coronavirus, namely doctors, nurses and paramedic officers, and other healthcare professionals involved in overcoming the pandemic in Ukraine.
Consultations will be provided either verbally or in writing. The format of communication shall be agreed with the lawyer on a case-by-case basis: e-mail, telephone, messengers, etc.
Lawyers will advise on civil and administrative law. That is, you can address the issues of medical, labor, inheritance, family, housing law and other branches of law. Physicians can also address with administrative offenses related to quarantine violations. The participants of the Project expect that the consultations will be provided to protect the rights and interests of healthcare professionals, who today are in the forefront of the fight against coronavirus.
Below you may find information on each lawyer participating in “Tomorrow’s Lawyers Help Healthcare Workers” pro bono project. You are welcome to choose a lawyer from your closest neighborhood or by other criteria at your own discretion.
The lawyer(s) you have chosen may forward your request to another colleague who is more competent in the field of law to which your question relates. After all, lawyers, as well as doctors, can specialize in particular areas of law.
