The Code of Legal Ethics In Ukraine – a Glimpse into the Future
Recently, the legal community has widely discussed and substantiated the painful perception of the recent changes to the Code of Legal Ethics, as well as the lack of transparency in the process of adopting the relevant novels stories and the elimination of important norms that are in line with the spirit and essence of the legal profession.
Olga Zhukovska, a candidate of legal sciences, expert of the “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, expressed her thoughts on the rules of legal ethics, in particular, in their historical aspect for the weekly newspaper “Yurydychna Gazeta”.

In 2018, the “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program is being implemented by the Ukrainian Bar Association and the Bar Association of Legal Aid Providers, with the support of the United States Embassy and The Quality and Accessible Legal Aid in Ukraine Project funded by the Government of Canada and implemented by the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE).
