Module IV “Public Relations and Media. Advocacy”, Group 10, Kyiv
On September 21-23, 2019, the 9th group of the third season of the Tomorrow’s Lawyer Program continues training in the development of soft skills skills in the module on the topic “PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MEDIA. ADVOCACY” within the fourth module of the Program.
The trainers, experts and the Program team worked for several months on the new structure and content of Module IV, taking into account the assessment materials and suggestions for improvement provided by graduates of the Tomorrow’s Lawyer Program.
The Module was dedicated to the following topics:
- Ethics and practice of communication with media;
- Development of oral and written communication skills with journalists;
- Development of communicational strategies;
- Planning and launching advocacy campaigns.
Trainers of the Module were:
Stanislav Yasynsky, Ukrainian journalist and documentary filmmaker. Work experience on television – 21 years. He worked as a correspondent for TRC “Vikha” (Chernivtsi), a journalist for STB and 1 + 1 channels, editor-in-chief of the “Morning with Inter” program, and editor of TSN. He is a special correspondent of “TSN-Week with Alla Mazur”, where he specializes in covered issues of justice. He worked in the combat zone.
Stanislav is a permanent lecturer at the Higher School of Media & Production of the 1+1 Media Group, where he teaches non-mainstream journalism and investigative journalism;
Maksym Sukhenko, Ukrainian journalist, TV presenter, producer of television films and programs. Experience in television – more than 20 years. He worked as a reporter for the programs “News” (TET), “Windows” (STB), “UTN” (UT-1), “TSN” (1+1 Channel), columnist for projects “Vikna-Opivnochi”, “News with Mykola Kanishevsky”, “TSN Week”.
One of the authors of the program “Money” for 1+1, co-editor of “Secret Materials” and editor-in-chief of the Department of Journalistic Investigations of the holding “1+1 Media”.
Maksym is a permanent lecturer at the Higher School of Media & Production of the 1+1 Media Group and an associate professor of the Department of Film and Television Arts at the Institute of Journalism of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv;
Oleksandr Zaslavskyi, Director of the Analytical Department of the Laboratory of Legislative Initiatives NGO, OSCE/ODIHR Expert, Public Policy Analyst. He has 12 years of experience in the public sector. Author of analytical documents in the field of parliamentarism, public administration, public participation.
