V Module “Legal Reasoning and Writing”, Group 12, Kyiv
During February, 28 – March, 1 Group 12 of Season III of the Tomorrow’s Lawyer Program, continued soft skills trainig for lawyers at Module 5 of the Program entitled “Legal Reasoning and Writing”.
Trainig “Legal Reasoning and Writing” was exclusively developed by the Program’s team and is being held for the first time for the participants of Season III of the Program.
The module, in particular, includes the following issues:
- Norm application and interpretation;
- The structure of the legal argument;
- The ratio of logic and rhetoric in legal argumentation;
- Categories and paradigms of legal writing.
Module trainer – Mykhailo Koltsov, candidate of philosophical sciences, Senior Lecturer, Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, media analyst, participant of the StopFake project, lecturer of the Ukrainian School of Political Studies, in the past – head of the Situation Center of the President of Ukraine. His research interests include policy analysis, data visualization, and information security.
Group expert – Dmytro Kukhnyuk, lawyer, candidate of judicial sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Notary and Enforcement Process, and the Bar at the Law Faculty of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University.
