Trainer of Module V Season III of the Program
We are happy to present you the trainer of the Module 5 Season III of the “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program Mykhailo Koltsov – Candidate of Philosophy, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies of National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, media analyst, participant of StopFake project, and lecturer of Ukrainian School of Political Studies, in the past – Head of the Situation Center of the President of Ukraine. His research interests include policy analysis, data visualization, and information security.
The Module 5 of the Program is devoted to the topic “Legal reflection and writing”. The training was exclusively developed by the Program team and will be held for the first time for the participants of the Season III of the Program.
In particular, the module addresses the following issues:
- Normalization and interpretation;
- Structure of the legal argument;
- Value of logic and rhetoric in legal argumentation;
- Legal letter categories and paradigms.

The “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program was launched in 2016 and first implemented within the “Quality and Accessible Legal Aid” Project, carried out by the Canadian Bureau for International Education with the support of the Government of Canada in cooperation with the Legal Aid Coordination Centre. It is currently being implemented and developed with the support of the US Embassy’s Law Enforcement Section in Ukraine, the “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” NGO, in partnership with the Ukrainian Bar Association and the Bar Association of Legal Aid Providers.
