Who is a True Legal Professional? Reflections from a Tomorrow’s Lawyer

Participation in the Lawyer of the Future program becomes a turning point for many lawyers. Participants rethink traditional views, gain new knowledge and skills that shape values ​​and approaches in professional activities.

Lyudmyla Grytsenko, a graduate of the first hundred of the Program, completed a training for trainers (ToT), organized by the “Quality and Accessible Legal Aid in Ukraine” Project together with the Coordination Center for Legal Aid Providing. In the past year alone, Lyudmyla has conducted more than ten soft skills trainings and authored a number of publications, including on countering domestic violence. This year, she became an assistant to trainer Svitlana Savchuk.

Now Lyudmyla Grytsenko shares her reflections on the professionalism and values ​​in the legal profession, inspired by the participation in the “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program.

It is currently being implemented and developed with the support of the US Embassy’s Law Enforcement Section in Ukraine, the “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” NGO, in partnership with the Ukrainian Bar Association and the Bar Association of Legal Aid Providers.
