Graduate of the “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program Presents its project at the Festival of Ideas
Volodymyr Marusyak, a graduate of the first hundred of “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program, shared his vision at the Festival of Ideas in Ukraine.
The festival, which took place on August 24-26 in Odessa, was organized by the joint efforts of Impact Hub Odessa and The Aspen Institute of Kyiv.
The Festival of Ideas is an open forum for leaders, a place for in-depth study of ideas and challenges shaping the present and future of diverse communities. The event gathered around 1500 participants from across the country and over 50 speakers with ideas for discussion.
The ideas and projects of Volodymyr Marusyak, which he presented to the public, touched upon the issues of safety and security in all respective manifestations – from the basic human needs to the permitted legitimate state intervention in the personal life of a person. Volodymyr’s ideological search resulted in the “Safe City” project.

The “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program was developed during 2016-2017 with the support of the project “Quality and Accessible Legal Aid in Ukraine” with an expert contribution from the Canadian Bar Association. The “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program is being implemented by the Ukrainian Bar Association and the Bar Association of Legal Aid Providers, with the support of the United States Embassy and The Quality and Accessible Legal Aid in Ukraine (QALA) Project funded by the Government of Canada and implemented by the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE).
