Legal Defense of Victims of Violence: Training in Kryviy Rih

On February 26, 2019, in Kryviy Rih, the graduates of “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” Program, Tamara Bugaiets and Lyudmila Grytsenko, held a training on “Features of the lawyer’s participation in cases related to the legal defense of victims of domestic violence”.

The event was supported by the US Embassy in Ukraine, “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” NGO in partnership with the Bar Council of Dnipropetrovsk region.

The trainers at the event were Tamara Bugaiets, Lyudmila Grytsenko, as well as a judge of the Ingulets District Court of Kryviy Rih, Vyacheslav Mazurenko. Key topics of the event included domestic violence: a focus on soft skills and hard skills; peculiarities of bringing to administrative and criminal responsibility for domestic violence.
