Participants Presented A Study On The Application Of Justice In Transitional Period In Ukraine

As much as three participants of the Tomorrow’s Lawyer Program joined a large-scale study research. Lawyers Olga Semenyuk, Vira Mykhailenko and Oleksiy Zadoyenko became co-authors of the “Basic Study on the Application of Transitional Justice in Ukraine”.

The monograph examines the concept of transitional justice in the context of the war in Eastern Ukraine. The authors analyze the application of such justice in other countries and try to find the most successful model for the post-war period in Ukraine.

The key questions that the researchers are discussing, is the facilitation of public dialogue for national reconciliation and bringing to justice those who have committed serious crimes. And also, the transition of the state from the conditions of the military conflict to a post-conflict state.
